The ECA is a signatory to these letters responding to the July Watershed Assessment report by BC Timber Sales, produced by the Reed Road Forest Working Group, Sunshine Coast Conservation Association, and the Town of Gibsons.
The response identifies serious flaws in the BCTS report’s assessment of damage to Elphinstone’s downstream communities from planned logging, and calls for a moratorium on further logging in Mt. Elphinstone watersheds.
